Print to PDF
Here are the steps to converting forms to PDF.
Adobe Acrobat vs Adobe Reader
You do not need Adobe Acrobat to create or view a PDF file. You do need any version of Adobe Reader
to view a PDF. Adobe Reader is absolutely free and is probably pre-installed on your computer.
PDF driver
Microsoft Print to PDF is preinstalled on Windows 10 and up. You can double check whether
you have Microsoft Print to PDF by going to File/Print:
If you don’t see the Microsoft PDF Printer installed, make sure it is enabled and configured. Press
Windows key + R and then type:
and Hit Enter on your keyboard. This will display this box:
Scroll down and check to make sure Microsoft Print to PDF is enabled.
There are lots of free PDF drivers on the web that you can download and install as well.
Creating a PDF
Once the PDF driver is installed, go into the software. Click on File/Print. Select what
you want to print. Hit Ok. You will get to this print options box:
and select Microsoft Print to PDF. Hit Ok. Then this pop will display:
You can save the PDF anywhere and give it any name. Name the file sample.PDF and try saving the file to the desktop.
Once the file is saved, go to your desktop (or where you saved the PDF file) and double click on the PDF to view your
document in Adobe Reader.
